The HeroEE 30 is a next-generation LiFePO₄ low-voltage battery module designed for scalable residential and commercial energy storage. It’s the first in the HeroEE lineup to adopt 587Ah battery cells — a significant innovation that increases energy density while reducing overall system costs. With a rated capacity of 30054Wh at 51.2VDC, it works alongside a separate hybrid inverter (positioned between solar and grid input) to store and deliver energy as needed.
Built for longevity, the HeroEE 30 carries a rated cell lifespan of over 11,000 cycles (at 25°C, 0.5P, 90% DoD, 70% SOH), and supports a full 100% depth of discharge (DOD) — allowing near-total use of stored capacity on every cycle. It handles a recommended charge/discharge current of 150A (up to 300A maximum) using CC-CV charging, with a wide charge/discharge voltage range of 43.2–58.4VDC.
A key advantage of the larger 587Ah cell format is flexible expansion with fewer parallel cells: the system scales from 30kWh up to 960kWh, supporting up to 32 batteries in parallel, while reducing internal wiring and components for a cleaner, simpler installation. This also translates into significantly improved maintenance efficiency, as fewer cells and connections mean less complexity to manage over the system’s lifetime. Communication is handled via CAN/RS485 ports, with a built-in LCD screen for local monitoring.
Unlike the indoor-only HeroEE 8/16, the HeroEE 30 is rated IP65, giving it strong dust and water resistance suitable for outdoor installation. It includes comprehensive protections — overtemperature, undertemperature, overcharge, overcurrent, short circuit, undervoltage, reverse connection, and failure detection — and operates across a broad temperature range (0°C to 45°C charging, -20°C to 45°C discharging), making it a robust, large-scale foundation for solar + storage systems ranging from single homes to larger installations.
